In addition, Phoebe also increased her awareness in washing hands & legs. Notice that there are a lot of mosquitoes in that area and Phoebo has a number of black marks after recovered from the mosquitoes bite. Hope you can notify town council on the matter, so as to reduce the situation.”

We do not encourage the use of pillows, comforters, soft toys etc. in our centre as these are great media for transmission of diseases like HFMD.  We are careful in planning our food menus and have minimized the use of processed foods or food with high trans fat, like e.g.hotdogs; doughnuts for our children. We have obtained the “Healthy Eating Award” from HPB and will continue to provide healthy food to our young children.}

In general, there is a shortage of English teachers in the early childhood sector.  We have succeeded in maintaining low staff turn-over rate in year 2010 even though there were changes in the K class English teacher. We strive to engage teachers who are committed and enjoying working with the children. We are glad to have Teacher Wahida (also the vice Principal) who joined us since Sep 2010 and she is currently the K1/K2 English teacher. The children have becoming very attached to her and progressing well in the learning}.
